Artist Statement
I do not consider myself as only an artist or designer, I think I am the combination of both. My main focus is hard edge geometry, which appeals to me with its precision in the process of creation.
My works are juxtapositions of different shapes characterised by simplicity and sharpness. Nature is what inspires me the most. I like to transform it into eye-catching forms on high quality canvas using acrylic and vinyl paints. They add elegance and vibrancy to my works and help me achieve a smooth texture.
The adventure of my artistic work started when I decided to decorate my own flat. Since I could not find anything that matched my style I decided to get creative.
Over the years, I have been painting small pieces, exploring different techniques, styles and media. Nowadays I know that geometric abstraction and the simplicity of shapes is what brings me tranquility and appeals to me.
